New Funding Helps Expand Legal Help in New Hampshire

603 Legal Aid recently received a $424,686 grant from the Legal Services Corporation’s Pro Bono Innovation Fund to launch a community justice worker pilot program in Coös County, using a model advanced by Frontline Justice.

The program will prepare trusted community volunteers to help residents navigate essential benefits, including SNAP, Medicaid, and WIC, and connect people with legal professionals when they need additional support. 603 Legal Aid expects to begin training volunteers in 2027, with plans for them to begin serving communities in 2028.

Thank you to 603 Legal Aid for moving this work forward. We’re proud to be part of a growing network of organizations building new pathways to justice together.
